Despite his plan to return to the Los Angeles Lakers for a second season, Marc Gasol might end up considering other options, per Marc Stein.
Gasol, 36, inked a two-year contract with the Lakers last November. After Spain was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Tokyo, he shared his plans of heading back to Los Angeles. However, his spot on the roster is uncertain, according to the latest report.
The Spanish big put up 5.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks in a rocky season with the Lakers, his 13th in the league.
Next in Tokyo, he logged 5.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game with Spain knocked out in the quarterfinals by the USA.
